Writer and Poet

Halima Abdulazeez is a passionate writer, poet, and PhD candidate at the prestigious University of Lagos. Her works have been translated into many languages. She is the author of Soul Rants: A Journey Within, a collection that explores human emotion and self-discovery. She features in the opinion pages of Business Day, Abuja Politico, Newstelegraphs, Yes magazines, Eagle Tower and so on.

As Treasurer of PEN International Nigeria Centre and Communication Officer at Caprecon Foundation, she is the Chair of the Young Writers Committee at PEN Nigeria, She advocates for free expression and community development. A leader in the book and leadership ecosystem, she mentors emerging writers and promotes the transformative power of literature. Her work bridges cultures and inspires others to embrace their inner journey.
