Poet and Journalist

An Iraqi writer, poet, and journalist, he is a member of the Iraqi Writers Union. He holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

He published his first poetry collection, "144 m2 , " followed by his second, Kob Shay Bared (A Cold Cup of Tea).He has published poems and articles in numerous Arab and local magazines and newspapers, in addition to his extensive work in culture which includes writing, editing, and coordination of cultural projects and initiatives.He has taken part in covering and writing on a wide range of cultural and subjects.

His book project Tifel Min Dawlat Al-Kharaz (A Child from the Land of Beads) won the AFAQ Grant for Creative Writing. He has also participated in numerous poetry festivals in Iraq and abroad, including Bithar al-Shi'r, Jawahiriyoun, Al-Mirbad, and the Manouba International Festival in Tunisia.
